Protesters push for Pete Arredondo to resign as Uvalde CISD police chief

Despite Pete Arredondo's resignation as the Uvalde District 3 City Councilman, members of the community are pushing for him to also step down as the Uvalde CISD police chief. A protest happened at the memorial site for the Robb Elementary School shooting victims on Sunday. Nearly a dozen people were there, including Uziyah's mother and uncle. His mother also called for the resignation of District Attorney Christina Mitchell Busbee. Arredondo stepped down from the city council on Saturday in a letter to the Uvalde mayor.
