BCSO: Gunfire did not ring out during chase in far west Bexar County neighborhood

Concerns of car burglaries led to a chase through one far west Bexar County neighborhood. Along with seeing flashing lights, residents in the Luckey Ranch neighborhood also believed they heard gunfire during that chase around 3:30 early Monday morning. Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar said what was captured on that video was not gunshots, but it could have been a modified tailpipe. Salazar said that while deputies found shell casings, they found no bullet holes. They believe the shell casings are from an old case involving a red Dodge Charger, for which they are still looking.
