St. Patrick's Day parade held in downtown San Antonio

Visitors to the River Walk were gifted not only one but two days of a green river in celebration of St. Patrick's Day. It was also the day for the river parade, which was free to attend. The river has been dyed green since 1968. The dye is eco-friendly and uses 25 gallons to spread in the downtown area stretch.
