San Antonio kids learn how to become firefighters at Heroes Camp

San Antonio kids had the chance to learn what it takes to serve as firefighters at Heroes Camp on Saturday. In an initiative to educate youth about the hard work needed to become a member of emergency services as well as possible future careers, the camp first started as an all-girls program to bring awareness to the job for future generations. As its popularity grew, more and more kids from ages eight to 18 joined to learn and test their skills in firefighting and CPR.
