Berths in the 2023 UIL State high school swimming and diving championships were on the line Saturday afternoon at Southwest ISD Aquatic Center for the Region VII-5A meet, and several area swimmers including Smithson Valley’s Vanessa Weatherford, Boerne Champion’s Cameron Kellogg and Alamo Heights’ Derek Montoya earned regional titles.
