Warm-up expected for weekend

SAN ANTONIO – What a great day!

A cold front has brought cooler, drier air into South Texas.

However, the front also arrived with gusty winds. Expect breezy winds through the rest of the day.

By tonight, winds will relax, allowing temperatures to drop into the 40s. It will mark the coolest morning across the area since mid-March. A light jacket may be a good idea when leaving tomorrow morning.

A steady warm-up is forecast through the weekend before a weaker front arrives to the area by early next week.  While this front will not bring a cool down, it will likely allow for storms to develop.

Stay tuned!
