KSAT Weather: Cold, damp for Saturday

Rain and cool temperatures to start weekend

SAN ANTONIO – If you’re looking to escape to the outdoors this weekend but don't want to get cold and wet, Sunday is a better bet than Saturday.

Cloudy skies will continue Saturday, but this time, they’ll bring rain for most folks. Rain will start in our southwestern counties and will spread across most of the area by the afternoon.

By evening, some heavier patches of rain will form, especially for San Antonio and points eastward.

The rain will keep temperatures near 50 degrees all day.

If you’re heading out, keep the jacket, umbrella and cup o’ joe handy. However, if you have the opportunity, Saturday may just be a good day to stay inside.

Sunday holds a little more hope for those looking for some outdoor time, as the rain leaves and temperatures warm up. Enjoy your weekend!
