Abbott issues disaster declaration ahead of tropical disturbance

Bexar County among dozens of counties included in disaster declaration

**Note from the KSAT Meteorologists:

While Bexar County is listed in the governor's declaration, we are not expecting any severe weather. Technically, it's not a "tropical disturbance." It is an elongated area of low pressure and a tropical depression is unlikely to form. The rain in the gulf should bring about 1-4 inches of rain to our area this weekend. Because the ground is already saturated, we could see some minor flooding so remember to drive safely and avoid high water on the roads.
