SAN ANTONIO - Mostly cloudy skies this morning will give way to partly cloudy or mostly sunny skies this afternoon, KSAT 12 meteorologist Justin Horne said.

A few showers, east of San Antonio, cannot be ruled out. Expect temperatures to jump above 90, with plenty of humidity. A weak cold front tomorrow brings cloud cover and chances for rain, Horne said.

Showers and a few storms will be scattered around the area during the day, as the front pushes through. Rain chances continue behind the front early on Thursday and pick up again on Friday and into the weekend, Horne said.

As a result, high temperatures will only be in the upper 70s on Thursday and low 80s are forecast for the weekend.

Tuesday's Pollen Count:

Molds 1,180, Heavy

Ragweed 140, Moderate

Grass 20, Light

There are a couple of showers popping up Tuesday morning to the east of San Antonio, KSAT 12 meteorologist Mike Osterhage said.

The San Antonio area can expect more sunshine Tuesday with temperatures in the upper 80s.

A cool front will then come through Wednesday and give the area a good chance of showers and storms, Osterhage said.

The rain chances will also stick around into the weekend, Osterhage said.
