As for San Antonio Water System customers, it could take more time before Stage 1 restrictions are imposed.
However, if the drought continues, then water restrictions may become a reality.
High temperatures today should reach near 98, much like yesterday, with mostly sunny skies.
Potential for relief in forecast
A breakdown of our current weather pattern should allow for isolated showers and storms by Sunday, with rain chances carrying over into next week.
Temperatures will stay in the upper 90s, dropping a few degrees by the weekend.
Currently, San Antonio is about 4 inches below average on rainfall.
