SAN ANTONIO - Changes in the weather are in store after several days of heat and humidity.
A cold front will gradually push through South Texas on Friday, dropping temperatures to near average levels for the weekend.
Ahead of the front, isolated showers and storms are possible beginning midday Friday through the afternoon, with highs near 90 degrees.
Friday night football should still be warm and muggy, with a 20 percent chance of a quick storm, and temperatures in the 80s.
By Saturday, temperatures will drop a bit, with slightly lower humidity, which should be nice for events like Chalk It Up! SA Live recently highlighted Chalk It Up and got to play with the Chalka Kahn machine.
But the biggest changes will be on Sunday, which will be a great day to visit a pumpkin patch.
Expect very low humidity on Sunday, with highs in the mid-80s leading to lows in the upper 50s Sunday night into Monday morning.
The humidity will remain low for most of next week with seasonable temperatures.
