SAN ANTONIO - A cold front that brought heavy showers and storms is pushing eastward, leaving behind clouds and slightly cooler temperatures.
Skies will gradually clear behind the front, leading to a quiet and warm Saturday, KSAT 12 meteorologist Sarah Spivey said. The high should be in the mid-80s with a wind from the northwest at 5-15 mph.

UPDATE:: The flash flood watch in effect for San Antonio until 1 p.m. Saturday has been canceled.
As of 5 a.m., the airport has reported 1.43" of rain since midnight, bringing our monthly rainfall total to 16.39"...so far.
That means September 2018 will go down in the record books as the rainiest September on record for San Antonio, KSAT 12 meteorologist Sarah Spivey said.
The National Weather Service says several low water crossings remain flooded and closed in northern and western Bexar County. A Flood advisory remains in effect for Bexar County through 8:30 a.m.

Storms are moving into Bexar County with intense, frequent lightning and heavy rains, KSAT 12 meteorologist Sarah Spivey said.
A flash flood warning has been issued for eastern Bexar County until 7 a.m. A flash flood warning has been issued for Medina & Bandera counties until 5:15 a.m., where over three inches of rain has fallen.
A flash flood warning has been issued for Timberwood Park, Leon Valley and Lackland Air Force Base until 6 a.m. and for Hondo, Devine and Castroville until 6:15 a.m.
The Flash Flood Warning for Leander, Marble Falls, and Horseshoe Bay has been extended until 7 a.m.
Through dawn, storms will be capable of producing: flooding, frequent lightning with power outages, gusty winds, and small (pea-to-dime) size hail, Spivey said.
