Ridgeview/Alamo Heights tornado upgraded to EF-2, NWS says

Tornado originally graded EF-1

SAN ANTONIO – The tornado that slammed the Ridgeview/Alamo Heights on Sunday night has been upgraded to an EF-2, the National Weather Service said.

The maximum sustained winds of the tornado was 120 mph, was 4.5 miles long and 600 yards in width, NWS officials said.

The tornado was originally graded an EF-1 tornado with maximum winds clocked at 105 mph.
