SAN ANTONIO – A cold front will make itself at home across South Texas late Monday into Tuesday, with the potential to drop a couple of inches of rain in some areas, forecasters said.
The National Weather Service says portions of the Texas Hill Country will be under a slight risk of severe storms.

Your Weather Authority Meteorologist Justin Horne said a cold front will drop across the area Monday, bringing the greatest chance for severe storms late that evening.
Horne said the greatest threats include hail up to 1 1/2 inched in diameter and damaging winds.
By Tuesday, widespread rainfall will develop over the area and could drop up to 4 inches.
