Hurricane Harvey pelts Texas coast with heavy rain

SAN ANTONIO – Texas is getting ready as Hurricane Harvey strengthens in the Gulf of Mexico.

Several livestreams from coastal webcams are available for people to watch while Harvey’s outer bands rack the coast with storm surges.

Many coastal towns are under mandatory evacuation and Texans a little farther inland are stocking up on supplies.
