KENDALL COUNTY, Texas - A 23-year-old woman was killed in flash flooding in the Hill Country.

Cpl. Reid Daly of the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said at around 1:40 a.m. Sunday, a car containing three people was swept by floodwaters in Comfort, about 45 miles north of San Antonio.

The driver made it to shore, and a female passenger was rescued from a tree. But Flora Molima, of Houston, was missing until her body was found around 11 a.m. Sunday about 8 miles downstream in the Guadalupe River, Daly said.

Molima is the sixth flood-related death in Texas this Memorial Day weekend.
