Man hospitalized after confrontation at Loweโs store escalates into shooting, police say
SAN ANTONIO โ A man is recovering in the hospital after a confrontation at a Loweโs store near the West Side escalated into a shooting, according to San Antonio police. Police say a man pushed a cart into a female worker at the Loweโs store and another man on a motorcycle witnessed the incident. The motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital and his injury was deemed non-life threatening. The other man was also taken to the hospital for breathing issues, police said. Loweโs hosting trick-or-treat events with free pumpkin, candy for kids
Loweโs is launching a drive-through curbside trick-or-treating event at all stores nationwide on two select days in October. From 6 to 7 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 29, families can trick-or-treat and receive free candy and a small pumpkin. Space will be limited for reservations at each location so Loweโs officials encourage consumers to register early. There are also free DIY workshops for kids. These in-store events vary by location and are โdesigned to inspire the next generation of builders while growing their confidence and DIY skillset.โCostumes are encouraged but not required to attend the curbside trick-or-treat events.
