Treat dad to some pool time this weekend 😎 Still watching possible rain chances next week ~ Mia
WEATHER HEADLINES:
• Toasty Father's Day Weekend - highs near 100°
• Tropical moisture possible next week
• Scattered downpours not ruled out by next Wednesday and Thursday
FORECAST DETAILS:
Made it to the weekend! If you're stepping out for any Friday evening plans, expect temperatures to fall through the 90s and into the 80s after sunset under mostly clear skies.
With high pressure in control, it'll be a hot Father's Day Weekend with highs near 100° Saturday and Sunday. Not a bad excuse to treat dad to some relaxing pool time, but don't forget the sunscreen!
Changes are still looking possible next week as a tropical disturbance moves into the Western Gulf. While the system is currently expected to head westward towards Mexico, it could fling tropical moisture into parts of South Texas and spark scattered rain chances by Wednesday and Thursday. Still too early to talk specifics, but that will be something to check back on as we get a clearer picture over the next few days.
We'll keep you posted with additional updates... Until then -- have a great weekend and stay cool! ~ Mia
