Pumpkin picking

Halloween is coming up, and whether or not you have grandkids, it's always fun to visit a pumpkin patch during fall. Grab your loved ones and make an afternoon to find that perfect pumpkin.

If you're looking for a fun weekend activity, visiting your local farmers market is a great way to support the community. Farmers markets are great for finding local produce, fruits, vegetables and handmade goods such as clothing, jewelry and soaps.

AARP will be hosting a free Celebrando con AARP for its Hispanic Heritage Month grand celebration on Sunday, Oct. 6 from noon to 6 p.m.

AARP members can enjoy a day filled with fun, games, shopping, activities and dancing to live Tejano music. AARP invites you to bring your friends and family, and come ready to celebrate!
