US Marshals looking for missing sex offender

Lawrence Clark, 54, accused of violating terms of supervised release

SAN ANTONIO – It's been more than four years since the Texas Department of Public Safety's Sex Offender Registry has reported Lawrence Wayne Clark living in Bandera County.

Clark, 54, pleaded guilty to charges of possession of child pornography in 2004 and was sentenced to six years in prison, followed by 20 years of supervised release. He is required to tell law enforcement where he's living. The last update says Clark changed his status March 1, 2011.

Now, he's a wanted man.

"Clark allegedly violated the conditions of his supervised release because he absconded from supervision and failed to register as a sex offender," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman.

Clark has green eyes and brown hair. He is 5'8" tall and weighs 200 pounds.

He was born in Massachusetts, but has lived in San Antonio and Pipe Creek, Texas.
