SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio man wanted on charges he had sex with a teenage girl has managed to avoid arrest for more than a year and a half.
The US Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is looking for Merlin Martinez, 37. He was indicted in September 2014 for three counts of indecency with a child through sexual contact.

"The indictment alleged that Martinez sexually assaulted and took advantage of a female child who was under the age of 17 years old," said Deputy Chris Bozeman.
Martinez is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
"His last known place of residence was on the north side of San Antonio," said Bozeman.
