SAN ANTONIO – UT Health San Antonio infectious disease specialist Dr. Ruth Berggren discussed the latest with COVID-19 and vaccinations in the KSAT Q&A.

  2. It has become the dominant variant in the United Kingdom and beyond. It was recently detected in Houston, and Dr. Berggren believes it will gain traction in the United States.
