New Braunfels police searching for 2 men accused of robbing store, threatening clerk

Robbery happened at Valero at I-35 South and Walnut Avenue

SAN ANTONIO – The New Braunfels Police Department is searching for two men who they say robbed a Valero gas station earlier this week.

The robbery happened at about 3:55 a.m. on Monday at the store in the 1100 block of Interstate 35 South at Walnut Avenue.

The two men arrived in a white SUV, entered the store, and one of them flashed a gun, police said. The men threatened the cashier, and demanded cash from the register and tobacco products, police said.

They fled in the white SUV, possibly a late-model Toyota Highlander.

Anyone with information about the men is asked to contact NBPD or Comal County Crime Stoppers, who is offering a reward of up to $4,000 for information leading to an arrest or grand jury indictment.
