SAN ANTONIO – Two men and two juveniles were arrested after a bust at a drug house on the East Side, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar.

BCSO’s Organized Crime Unit -- with help from San Antonio police, Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Marshals Service’s Lone Star Fugitive Task Force -- secured a warrant and arrested the four suspects around 11 a.m. Tuesday at a home in the 2200 block of East Houston Street.

When law enforcement officers arrived, they found the home’s doors were secured by J hooks and lumber, Salazar said. He mentioned that criminals secure doors this way to make it harder for officers to get in, giving the suspects time to dispose of drugs or prepare their weapons.

Jonathan Lorenzo Franklin-Ross, 20, and Vanel Deshawn Durst, 19, were identified as the adult suspects in the case, according to BCSO. The sheriff said he could not release the identity of the juveniles due to their ages.

Law enforcement officials found and seized seven firearms, two of which had Glock switches. Salazar said the switches make the weapons fully automatic. He said a deputy had been shot by a gun with a switch earlier this year.

Salazar said two of the rifles were also modified to make them fully automatic. Along with the firearms, BCSO also seized 2 ounces of crack cocaine, heroin, 2 ounces of fentanyl pills, marijuana, a few thousand dollars in cash and body armor.
