Two patrol cars were struck and no one was hurt in the shooting

SHAVANO PARK, Texas – Shavano police are investigating a shooting that happened just outside of the department’s headquarters Wednesday night.

Shavano police say an officer saw a vehicle with at least one suspect fire up to 12 shots around midnight at the police parking lot at City Hall.

Two patrol cars were struck and no one was hurt, according to Shavano Park police.

Shavano Park City Manager Bill Hill said police are actively looking for the person responsible.

“If you come into Shavano Park, you’re likely to get caught. Whether or not we catch you right away or it takes a while, we will be focused on this,” Hill said.

Police are looking for a white four-door sedan, likely a newer Honda model.
