Driver, passenger injured after crashing truck into neighbor’s garage, BCSO says

SAN ANTONIO – A driver and a passenger were injured after they crashed their vehicle into a neighbor’s garage in Southwest Bexar County early Wednesday morning, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened around 3 a.m. at a home in the 11900 block of Lake Park, not far from Highway 90 and Luckey Ranch Elementary School.

According to deputies, a woman was driving a pickup truck with a male passenger and took a turn too fast for an unknown reason and crashed into a neighbor’s garage. No one was injured in the home.

Deputies say the man and woman were taken by ambulance to University Hospital, where they are expected to recover.

Arcadian EMS, the Bexar County Fire Department and the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the call.

Deputies did not say what, if any, charges the driver of the vehicle may face.

A damage estimate to the home was not given.
