10-year-old, 16-year-old found shot on West Side

Injuries not expected to be life-threatening

SAN ANTONIO – A 10-year-old and a 16-year-old were shot overnight and taken to the hospital in stable condition, according to San Antonio police.

They were found just before 12:15 a.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Roslyn Avenue, just north of Highway 90 on the West Side.

Police said they responded to a shooting call and that’s when they found the shooting victims. One suffered a gunshot wound to the hand, and the other suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.

They were both taken to University Hospital, and their injuries were not expected to be life-threatening.

They told police the shooting happened some where on UTSA Boulevard. Further details about the shooting or shooter are unknown at this time.
