Gary Sinise Foundation and the Lt. Dan Band visit Military City, USA to give back

Former ‘Forest Gump’ actor has performed more than 560 concerts for troops, veterans

SAN ANTONIO – This year marks 30 years since the movie “Forest Gump” was released and the actor behind the iconic role of Lieutenant Dan visited Military City USA Thursday.

The visit was to support those who protect us.

For more than 20 years, Gary Sinise & the Lt. Dan Band has performed more than 560 concerts to bring joy, comfort, and a sense of gratitude to active troops, veterans, Gold Star families, wounded service members, and first responders.

The Gary Sinise Foundation was established in 2011 to support veterans, first responders, heroes, and defenders, offering support, honor, and entertainment to those who protect us.
