SAN ANTONIO – If you think more street lights are needed in the District 1 area, now is your opportunity to share your thoughts.
Councilmember Dr. Sukh Kaur encourages residents to provide input where street lights are needed to improve public safety in the community.
“Studies consistently show that well-lit streets contribute significantly to reducing crime and improving pedestrian safety,” Kaur said. “By engaging residents in identifying priority areas for new street lights, we aim to leverage community-driven decisions that directly benefit our neighborhoods.”
In the request , you can identify the exact location within the district where you believe additional lighting is needed.
The form will ask for your personal information, the address of the requested location with the nearest streets, and a specific spot for the street light. You can also upload a photo.
You can also call 210-207-0900 for them to fill out for you.
