DEVINE, Texas – A man was found dead in his home during a welfare check, according to Devine police.
Officers responded around 11:15 p.m. Sunday to the 1300 block of North Windy Knoll Drive.
Upon arrival, a 78-year-old man, identified as Lloyd Fowler, was found dead, police said.
The Texas Rangers were notified of the death. They responded to the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation.
Devine police said that there is no known threat to public safety regarding this incident.
