I shot this photo looking ESE as the sky appears seamless due to the approaching tropical disturbance. In 1985, I remember how the sky conditions changed as Hurricane Gloria approached and just skirted to the east of Virginia Beach, Virginia. It was the only time I had to evacuate to a shelter to date.
