I’m running the San Antonio Half Marathon on behalf of Miles for Mental Health, a program dedicated to supporting first responders and veterans who are fighting silent battles every day. As a paramedic, I’ve seen the weight that stress and trauma can put on a person—and I’ve felt some of that weight myself. Running became a turning point in my own mental health journey. It’s where I clear my head, find my strength again, and remind myself why this mission matters. Supporting Miles for Mental Health means helping others find that same strength and making sure our first responders and veterans aren’t left to struggle alone. This race isn’t just miles—it’s purpose, healing, and hope.
