This free, family-centered cultural celebration brings together community members, artists, educators, and local businesses to celebrate African and African American history, arts, and culture while promoting unity across the African World Community. The festival provides opportunities for cultural education, youth engagement, community dialogue, and economic participation for local artists and small businesses. Each year, the event attracts families and community members from across San Antonion and Texas who gather to experience cultural performances, educational discussions, youth activities, and a vibrant cultural marketplace.
