SAN ANTONIO – SA Live is teaming up with Go Public once again to bring amazing stories within San Antonio's public schools to your television screen.
Go Public's Cool Schools is a monthly campaign where viewers can vote on a public school, or a program within a public school, that they would like to see featured on SA Live.
SA Live sends a crew to the winning school to celebrate and capture their story for television.
This is the third year of the campaign, and Go Public's Executive Director Lisa Losasso Jackson says it's made a lasting impact.
"The school just gets so excited," said Jackson. "The students are just so excited because they're so proud of the work that they're doing... you can see in their eyes, you can see in what they're saying, the hopes and the dreams that they have for their future."
Go Public is a San Antonio non-profit in San Antonio that collaborates with 17 independent school districts to shine a light on all the amazing things happening in our public schools.
