Brenda Teele is an award-winning journalist, news anchor, host, media coach and sought-after panel member on a variety of topics. She joined KSAT in the summer of 2026.
Brenda began her television career in Baltimore, Maryland, as a news assignment desk editor before becoming a news writer at WJLA in Washington, D.C. and KCAL in Los Angeles, respectively. Brenda spent most of her on-air career in the Dallas/Fort Worth market, hosting Good Morning Texas at WFAA, hosting Talk Street and anchoring the news at NBC5, and hosting Positively Texas and anchoring the morning weathercast at CBS11. She also worked in radio at ABC Radio Network and KKDA-AM.
Brenda has interviewed many celebrities including NBA greats Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, authors Maya Angelou and Stephen J. Cannell, and actors Bill Cosby, John Tesh, and Kevin Spacey. For more than 10 years, Brenda judged the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader auditions, “Making the Team” on CMT.
Serving the community is also important to Brenda. She’s an advisory board member for YES! Youth Equipped for Success, a non-profit helping middle and high school students make positive life choices. Brenda was also a core team member of The Lion’s Den, a business pitch competition for Christian business founders.
A Los Angeles native and graduate of Howard University (Broadcast Journalism), Brenda is the founder of ME: More than Enough and the Walk with ME podcast. Brenda and her three sons are members of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church in Dallas.
