He will formally start at Inter Miami once he gets a work visa. Alonso got Inter Miami to the MLS Cup playoffs in 2020, marking the seventh time an MLS newcomer reached the postseason.

For the third season, England is home to Europeโs only fully professional womenโs league, which is subsidized by the FA but is proving increasingly attractive to foreign broadcasters buying rights. โWe will make that call and announce in November,โ Sue Campbell, the FA director of the womenโs game, said on Monday. The Womenโs Super League is still operated by the FA but it would be willing to cede control for another body that could enhance its development.
