A news segment critical of the Trump administration's immigration policy was pulled from “60 Minutes” but is now circulating online.

Hours before airtime on Sunday, CBS News' “60 Minutes” held a planned story on President Donald Trump's deportation policy at the order of the network's new editor-in-chief, Bari Weiss.

Scott Pelley of “60 Minutes” explained the departure of the show's executive producer to viewers and said “none of us is happy” about the conditions that led to Bill Owens' departure.

The famous stopwatch will still announce the show as “60 Minutes.”.
