Grass fire burns 80 acres in Floresville

Dry conditions helped flames spread quickly near the Wilson County-Bexar County line in Floresville near FM 2579. About 80 acres burned on Monday evening. Bexar County firefighters worked to keep it from getting worse. It's unclear what caused the fire, but leaders remind the public that outdoor burning is not allowed.
