San Antonio Zoo announces death of Bubba the Komodo dragon

The San Antonio Zoo said one of its Komodo dragons has passed away. At 28 years old, Bubba was one of the oldest dragons in human care. He first arrived at the zoo in 1997. Zoo official said Bubba visited with guests and even received national attention for being the first exotic animal in the world to be treated with an innovative product to reduce joint inflammation. Acupuncture messages and stem cell replacement were also part of Bubba's care.
