Uvalde City Council working to change ordinance to allow upright headstones for Robb Elementary victims
Uvalde City Council on Tuesday tabled a motion to change the ordinance to allow upright headstones for the Robb Elementary School shooting victims. Council members realized they needed to change the language in the ordinance to include additional fees before approving the motion. The Robb victims' families have been pushing for 24 inches on a 6-inch plot. Now, the Uvalde public also wants the same. Once the city figures out the cost of maintenance and extra fees, the council is expected to approve the ordinance.
