STBTC teams up with TikTok influencers for blood drive event

The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center teamed up with TikTok account Chancla Academy to host a blood drive Saturday during National Blood Donor Month. The goal of the drive was to collect 30 donations that can help save the lives of 90 people. Chancla Academy's founder wants people to know that just 3% of the population donates blood every year and growth in areas like South Texas has regularly strained the blood supply. He hopes this will be the first Sangre Fest of many to come.
