High tides impact sand sculpting competition in Port Aransas

Sand sculptors fought against high tides that destroyed their artwork during this year's Port Aransas Sand Fest. Artists from around the world are in Corpus this week as they create incredible works of art made out of sand. But, some of them had their sculptures washed away by high tides, setting their work back for days. The water left the sand too soft to use, so artists have to be quick on their feet to start over.
