Helotes City Council votes to oppose proposal that would dump millions of gallons of wastewater into Helotes Creek

The Helotes City Council is taking a stand against a proposal that would dump about a million gallons of treated wastewater into Helotes Creek, a swimming hole in Grey Forest, where some of that water could end up. The council voted unanimously on Thursday to oppose the water permit by Municipal Operations LLC to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.
