SAPD chief, outreach organizations searching for answers amid spike in gun violence

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said Friday it’s been decades since he can recall a spike in gun violence like we are seeing now. McManus has pointed to gun access as part of the problem. A local community outreach program is trying to help people resolve conflict without resorting to this level of violence.
