New Rosie the Riveter mural displayed in Fort Worth
The Vintage Flying Museum and the Fort Worth Rose Society unveiled a new Rosie the Riveter mural. The Rosie Memorial Rose Garden honors World War II's Rosie workers who worked on the home front in North Texas. One of the original riveters, Grace Brown, attended the mural unveiling. Brown, who is now 101 years old, once helped construct aircrafts while men were at war. The memorial garden is now open for everyone to enjoy.
