City of Austin puts up misting tents to help combat heat

The City of Austin has put up misting tents around Republic Square Park to help battle the heatwave and prevent heat exhaustion. This week, the city announced the cooling tent pilot program to help people beat the hot temperatures downtown. They're currently only located on Guadalupe between 4th and 5th Streets, but more tents may pop up if people use them.
