Friends, family gather to remember man who died while in BCSO custody

Friends and family gathered Saturday night outside of the Bexar County Jail to remember a man who died while in the custody of BCSO deputies. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says Emmanuel Mora suffered a medical episode while he was being booked, which ultimately led to his death. Balcones Heights police arrested Mora on a drug charge and took him to the Bexar County Jail Sunday night. Deputies said when they tried to put him in handcuffs, he refused and kicked deputies while they tried to restrain him. A taser was then used on Mora and that's when deputies said he became unresponsive. Lifesaving measures were attempted but Mora died shortly after.
