Woman found not guilty by reason of insanity in daughter’s death

A mother accused of killing her 6-year-old daughter was found not guilty by a reason of insanity, a plea granted in less than one percent of cases nationwide. Nephiterea Sancho will now spend the rest of her life in a state hospital.
