Local pediatrician charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child, records show

Gabriel Perez is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. In the affidavit, a minor reported a detailed sexual assault that happened when the patient was 13 years old in 2022. Perez, according to the affidavit, told a detective that he “kissed and hugged patients whenever he felt that they were stressed”. Perez denied all other allegations.
