Court takes up case of Charles Byrd, accused of murdering his wife

OPEN COURT: Man who allegedly killed and hid his wife's body for a month must decide between plea deal or going to trial. Charles Byrd was arrested in July 2025 after his wife's body was found wrapped in plastic bags and rugs inside their Bexar Co. home.  His plea deadline is April 9 and no agreement trial is set April 13.
